Jacksonville, Florida resident Blake Wilson is the CEO and founder of Monarch Capital Investments, LLC. Outside of his business, Blake Wilson supports the work of the University of North Florida (UNF) Foundation, also based in Jacksonville.
The UNF Foundation solicits private support to help the university fulfill its strategic mission. Anyone can join the foundation by donating to its efforts. However, it is not the only way to support UNF. The school's alumni association is a way for all former Ospreys to maintain their link to the institution. It also offers a number of benefits to its members. In addition to facilitating networking efforts, UNF provides alumni with access to career services such as career planning, resume and cover letter critiques, and interview techniques.
Alumni can use the UNF Student Wellness Complex for a discounted rate, and those interested in using the UNF Thomas G. Carpenter Library can do so for $35 annually. Furthermore, the association gives members discounts to area establishments. Members get 10 percent off on lunch or dinner at Seven Bridges Grille & Brewery, reduced membership prices at the UNF Student Wellness Complex, and a discount at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Jacksonville, among other treats.
